5755ArticleVaporman87I have to say that of these, I think I like the Mario costume best. They're all good though! Oct 06, 2023View
3979ArticleHoju KoolanderI have to disagree with you on Good Burger. I was a regular viewer of All That as a kid, but didn't bother to see the film in the 90s. I just watched it for the first time last year and it's actually hilarious. The humor is pretty subversive and clever for adults if you read between the lines. Look for a mention of the T2 stage show in an upcoming article of mine. I guess with the Terminator 2 3-D re-release coming soon, it's in the air. Top Five 90s Summer MoviesJul 05, 2017View
3740ArticleVaporman87I have to agree. There are very few things that are so jam-packed with nostalgic awesomeness than old catalogs. Just one page has such a wealth of old toy goodness that it takes one article to contain it. I want all of those Joes and there accessories right now!Catalog Pages: 1982 Sears Wish Book Featuring G.I. JoeFeb 12, 2017View
778ArticleVaporman87I have to agree with your choice of the block's lineup. While many shows that aired during the 92 to 99 time frame werent realy my cup of tea, the quality of the block itself just seemed higher. And I like some stability and repetition in the bumpers, theme, etc. It helps increase the connection with the audience. Similar to the ABC Bumpers, or the Nick Jr. Moose A Moose segments. They give a feeling of familiarity and nostalgia in some cases. This was an great article. I really enjoyed it. Thanks TDITH! A Look at SNICKSep 05, 2013View
1410ArticleBenjanimei have to agree with vapor, i think that pretty much when 4kidsTV came around, you just knew that the common pasttime of saturday cartoons just had to go. poorly edited anime, american girl cartoons that just try too hard to do the whole princess/fairy thing, and television producers that just like to put contests in the sweepstakes meat grinder. speaking of which, i remember when they had a contest for a chance to win a copy of shadow the hedgehog, an edgy sonic game that used minor explicit words, but i guess they missed that because of the E label on the esrb rating for it.R.I.P. 1262ArticlevkimoI have to agree as well. As much as I liked Goosebumps, AYAOTD was better executed. One of the major differences between the story lines is that AYAOTD usually had a "happy" ending where as Goosebumps always had a twist at the end. Both shows are enjoyable though because I was the same age as the kids when the shows came out so the look and feel hits home.90's Vs: Goosebumps vs Are You Afraid of the DarkSep 16, 2014View
2795ArticleVaporman87I have to admit, 1987, 1988, and 1989 were probably my favorite years ever as a kid. Just such great times. The country was riding high on a great economy... people just saw life with renewed optimism. And there was so much great pop culture madness being created at that time. I would have been 14 years old (those numbers are reversed now :( ) and life was just so full of fun and adventure. I had gone through some difficult things by then (the divorce of my parents being the biggest issue) but I also had new and important family added to my life (my step-brother Bry being the most important - I just call him my brother). Lots of great movies in '88 for sure. Too many great ones to chose from, and then in '89... wow! That year is probably the greatest year ever to be a theater goer. Great times, my friend.Horror Films From The Best Year EVER!Oct 07, 2015View

5280ArticleBenjanimei have this memory from my toddler years of catching my sister watching the horror movie, creepshow on a night that she was babysitting me. she thought i was fast asleep, but i quietly opened my bedroom door and jut casually watched it for a good half hour. somehow, i grew up normal, but i've been intrigued with the halloween season ever since.Halloween Is in My BloodSep 23, 2020View
4937ArticleBenjanimei have the nintendo power issue covering a guide for the felix the cat game, never got around to renting it but it looked like a fun, basic platform romp from the screenshots that were provided so after i bought my nes classic i added the game to it. some of these other games i've definitely never seen or heard about before. great read!Underrated NES GamesMay 28, 2019View
