Article | Ruespieler | Reminded of the first time I went to a teen club and tried to pick up girls. Yeah. I'll just leave it there. | Dirty Dancing | Mar 20, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Ruespieler | Good job! Especially for one on the go, a nice bit of storytelling. That unmistakable vkimo voice shines through. I definitely have my work cut out for me now! | Dirty Dancing | Mar 20, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Ruespieler | Holy cow you wrote 3? Well done! My favorite shows and movies are always ones in which the locations become a silent character. You can't always go back to the bedroom you had when you were 6, but you can always go back to your old friend', locked away in their celluloid immorality. | Retro Rooms Part Deux | Mar 25, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Ruespieler | Thanks vape for taking care of that issue so quickly! Anyway, I'm glad you mentioned that the piece took you back to your own childhood pets. That's exactly what I wanted, to transport the reader back into the TARDIS of their own imaginations, but in a positive way. To remember the times that were good, so to speak. It's why I didn't "Old Yeller" you. Yeah runnin' away, it's a great idea for about two hours. Learned right then and there that, even on the worst days, home ain't such a bad place to be. | The Dog Days of Childhood | Mar 30, 2015 | ![]()
Article | munkysrench | This is your bro Stephen by the way, lol. I remember the majority of these on TV growing up with you. Toonami was a blast to watch on Friday and Saturday nights when there was nothing left to do on the weekend. I bought the Guyver series as well as the first couple volumes of Voltron on DVD when I first got stationed to Grand Forks. One lesson I learned from that is they were only fun to watch when you're a kid, and don't care about the dialogue. Watching it again was painful as an adult, because nothing anybody was saying made sense (there was a point in the Guyver where an enemy was like, "Feel the wrath of 100 million volts!", like he really didn't know how much power he had). I was glad to see Suncoast, as well as Sam Goody's just because of how obscene their prices were. Good article, bud. Thinking of writing one on here myself soon. | Anime memories | Jul 15, 2015 | ![]()
Article | munkysrench | I also remember them kicking you out of their house for not letting Jesse play his own game! Hahaha, you loved your video games back then... | How to ruin a friendship without really trying | Jul 16, 2015 | ![]()
Article | munkysrench | Yeah I remember that. (Our stepdad) Tim was PISSED! Oh yeah, remember in that cul-de-sac picture where the basketball hoop was? I played many a game of street basketball there.. | How to ruin a friendship without really trying | Aug 06, 2015 | ![]()
Article | munkysrench | @Vaporman87, I'll admit, getting through The Killing Joke was pretty tough the first time for me, being how graphic it was. But I think that's what stands out about Batman compared to other comic book characters is that raw unedited storyline. @Ben, I actually was going to make this one a lot longer, but thought with the synopsis that it was long enough. I knew I should've written more! lol | The Cereal Box in the Closet | Aug 13, 2015 | ![]()
