| Article | Hoju Koolander | The G.I. Joe/Dukes of Hazard crossover was an awesome image. That would have made a great episode of the cartoon. I love the wrestling recasting as well. Who was your Ric Flair? Construx were one of my favorite ways to build playsets for my action figures as well. | Dec 19, 2016
| Article | SockofFleagulls | Another article with Snake Mountain Challenge!! How do I not remember this? Indeed, you did get a great haul that year. | The Mega Haul of Christmas 1986 | Dec 19, 2016
| Article | SockofFleagulls | Some great memories here. I too had the Hot Wheels Sto N Go playset and spent hours in my dirt driveway with it and my car collection. Was very glad Target brought an updated version back this year and HAD to buy one. | NLogan's Christmas at Grandma's House | Dec 19, 2016
| Article | Vaporman87 | Thanks for this nice little review of the people and events that shaped Christmas into what it is today. I think we hear or read bits and pieces of this type of info from time to time, but rarely does any of us have the time or inclination to research the whole history. This is a nice way to discover that without having to devote a lot of time and attention to it. Great stuff. | The History of Christmas | Dec 20, 2016
| Article | Vaporman87 | I have a feeling most of us have stories that would fit right in with the theme of this article. For myself, the first thing that comes to mind is that every year I asked for a golf cart, and every year I was disappointed. LOL. I wanted a golf cart to drive up and down the neighborhood in. I used to think it would be so incredibly cool. The closest I ever got was a four wheeler, and that's just not the same. I also wanted the U.S.S. Flagg, and never got that either. Nor did I get the Eternia playset. So yeah, I was disappointed a few times on Christmas. And man, can I relate to your feelings about extended family gifts. They are usually such "throw away" items that there doesn't even seem to be a point in opening them. | Christmas 64 | Dec 20, 2016
| Article | Vaporman87 | This was a very touching story. I'm glad you shared it with us Supes. I'm glad you still got to build that snowman, even though it was with your mother. It still made a lasting impression on you and your Christmases from then on. | The First Snowman I Ever Built | Dec 20, 2016
| Article | Vaporman87 | It's weird to see Howey Mandel as that character, but that casting actually makes sense to me. He is good at that sort of manic, off beat weirdo. It's kind of neat that you have made a tradition out of your favorite show. | Christmas with Superman | Dec 20, 2016
| Article | vkimo | You disguised learning into a fun to read article, darn you! Haha nice write up I prefer Odin Claus delivering gifts on his eight legged steed for sure. "Odin got me a trebuchet for Christmas!" | The History of Christmas | Dec 20, 2016
| Article | echidna64 | Thanks! Odin Claus is definitely the most metal Santa haha | The History of Christmas | Dec 20, 2016
| Article | mickyarber | You've hit the nail on the head here talking about the "other" side of Christmas. Like I wrote in an old article, for years and years I always put on my wish list a rock tumbler and a chemistry set that I saw in the Sears Wish Book, but I never got them. On the flip side, I usually got things I liked from relatives. I didn't have many that I got stuff from, but the ones I did, did a pretty good job. | Christmas 64 | Dec 20, 2016 |
