5251ArticleThatDudeintheHoodieTo me the first movie slowly became well aged cheese. Not the best, but its still fun to watch what I used to like as a kid. Now though, I think Detective Pikachu is the cream of the crop of Pokemon films.  Aug 26, 2020View

5429ArticleThatDudeintheHoodieI had fun with the new one, but yeah, evolving them was fun. But at the same time I can see why they didn't add it back. Some of the ways to evolve can be seen as abuse. Pokemania: Pokemon SnapMay 26, 2021View

862ArticleThe Trash ManChildren's Palace was owned and operated by Child World, which was a chain of toy stores that was founded in Avon, MA. Right around the corner from where I grew up [and still currently live]. My friend and I were reminiscing about our local Child World just the other day while we were at the mall it used to be part of. Their panda bear mascot meant more to my childhood than any Geoffrey the Giraffe ever could.Children's Palace Was RealNov 18, 2013View
895ArticleThe Trash ManEven without the birthday wishes [thank you, Miss M..!], I would've loved this post a million times. Gremlins 2 is one of my absolute favorite movies and I have such fond memories of opening pack after pack of the trading cards, too! A truly wonderful look at a fantastically absurd film. Plus, shout-outs to Christopher Lee, John Glover and the late, great Robert Prosky? The only thing missing is some Murray Futterman [Dick Miller FTW] love. Great post!Trading After MidnightDec 10, 2013View
956ArticleThe Trash ManStinkor's aroma is heavenly. Second only to the smell of old books [and comics]. Actually, I loved the pine scent of Moss-Man, too. I remember ordering the Classics' version for my friend for Christmas last year and, just, inhaling deeply when I opened the box he arrived in. Even through the white Mattel mailer, I was overwhelmed by how strong the smell was, and how it instantly transported me back to being a kid and picking out the original MOTU Moss-Man from the toy store. The Fear of ToysJan 24, 2014View
992ArticleThe Trash ManGodzilla-themed Valentine's do exist. I remember stumbling upon a box of them at a dollar-store back when I lived in L.A [this was, uh, 2005/2006?]. I have no idea what happened to them, but there was also a sheet of stickers included that I used to "decorate" my name-badge at work. Moth-ah-raaaa..!For the Love of V-Day! Part 2Feb 10, 2014View
