1355 | Article | Vaporman87 | It's cool jkatz. I usually leave enough there so that it's obvious what the author wrote, but also keep it friendly to those who don't care for it. | Oct 01, 2014
4456 | Article | Vaporman87 | It's crazy to think it, but sometimes the most memorable things about trips and vacations are the little things. Looks like that is the case here. Most people who might ask you about a trip to the beach would expect a lot of stuff involving THE BEACH. But not so here. Great story Wes! | The Redneck Riviera '92 | Jun 18, 2018

1676 | Article | Hoju Koolander | It's definitely Nintendo that binds generations and family. Genetic connections are great, but who's your favorite character on Mario Kart? Nintendo breaks down all walls. I remember being fascinated with Mario Paint and the fact that they stuck in that fly swatter game for the kids that weren't very good at "creating art". Starfox was the game packaged with the Super NES set that I got one Christmas and I never really expanded my collection past that (just rented from Blockbuster). But really what more did you need? Cool graphics, neat character designs and simple, but challenging gameplay. Good times. | How Mario Saved Christmas... and Other Super Nintendo Tales | Dec 17, 2014
3225 | Article | Vaporman87 | It's easy to forget traditions that are gone. Once they are replaced by new ones, the old ones seem to get obscured by the passing years. After reading this, I tried to recall some traditions of Christmases past that are now gone. To my surprise, there are a lot of them. From the get-togethers at my grandparent's houses, to even the get-togethers (in more recent years) at my dad's and also my mom's house. We no longer do any of those things. My grandparents and my mom are no longer with us. My dad, getting divorced now for the second time, lives alone. No more family gatherings there. Those are just the big ones. There are so many more small traditions that are no more. All replaced by new ones that I and my own little family participate in. I hope these new traditions last for as long as my children want them to. I must always be keenly aware of what little things may mean a lot to them during the holidays. 3871 | Article | Vaporman87 | It's fun to see how far the evolution of Nerd acceptance has come from the '80s to now. But it certainly does have it's roots in '80s cinema and the effects of that on our culture. | The 1980s: When Nerds Became Cool | May 02, 2017
533 | Video | Benjanime | it's funny how these games were like $30 back in the day and now they're around $5 to $10 now | Super Mario Land commercial | Mar 27, 2013
327 | Video | Vaporman87 | It's funny that you should post this now. Last night my wife, oldest son, and I watched Wreck-It Ralph and I cracked up at the part where he digs a "!" out of the box in Tapper's bar. Funny stuff. | Early Metal Gear Solid Trailer | Feb 14, 2013
2110 | Article | Ruespieler | It's funny that you wrote this. A few months ago I was looking at the "cheap" toy aisle at a local department store, and was shocked by how little had changed. It really did bring me back, 90% of the toys there would have been right at home in my toy box, more than 30 years ago. Everything else in toys is different, but not that aisle. An you're right, the dollars earned on those same molds must be in the hundreds of millions of dollars by now. Has to be some kind of record. | Poor Kids Toybox | Mar 19, 2015 |
