756	Video	blueluigi	The plot to the cartoon is similar to the comic used as the backstory for Nintendo Power. But instead of high school students, it involved video game testers. It also had a better story than what was used in the cartoon. The comic was also considered more canon to the video game. Also, despite having the same name, the David Wise who wrote this cartoon is NOT the guy that composed music for Rare. He was a writer for a number of cartoons throughout the 70s-90s. Namely, some Transformers episodes as well as the first five episodes of the TMNT cartoon.		Aug 05, 2013
765	Video	blueluigi	For those who don't know, Michael Larson memorized these set patterns on the show by recording episodes off TV and playing them back again. He used them to his advantage and that's how he won that much. It's evident once you pay attention to his reactions. Sometimes, he would celebrate early before he even knew what it is he won. Although, his skill did eventually wear out at the end, and there were a few squares he landed on where he almost lost it all. Especially the last one where he lands on that trip to the Bahamas. 1074	Article	blueluigi	One of the subchannels in my local PBS affiliate actually continued to play Wishbone up to like 2009 or 2010. I never got into it when I was a kid. I always found it to be pretty boring. So, yeah, I'm leaning more towards Reading Rainbow for this. 1921	Article	blueluigi	Great article all the way. It really hits the nail on the head on Retrojunk's history. If there is one thing that I would change are a few inaccuracies. Retrojunk's familiar design that we're all familiar with came along in 2005... not 2007. I first stumbled across Retrojunk at around 2004, but officially joined in 2005. I remember a lot of moments that came around with this site. Members like Reaper spamming the forums with his Fried Oreos Club, DucktalesFan1977 posting about his 80s memories and talked about how much the 90s sucked (though eventually as the account got banned and he registered as gustogummi... he did a complete 180). Sonic64 with the way he points out the obvious and how he argues with others about why we shouldn't hate Sonic or disagree with the things he likes... and how Mezase Master, Xe-A-Thoul, and others gave him what he deserved. It had it's good moments and sometimes bad moments. But in the end, I think it's one of the most diverse sites I've seen throughout the internet. Some of the autistic members on the site were one of the main reasons why I left the site a few times. Not that I don't like autistic people, mind you... and I used to enjoy poking fun at some of the autistic users who came on before. But there was a time where it got to a point where the autistic users just made the site that much less enjoyable, and so I decided to leave for a little while because of it. 2342	Article	blueluigi	Nickelodeon rarely aired it? That's a new one to me. I recall seeing this quite a number of times along with other episodes. Actually, you know. It's funny to me. I've been seeing reports of certain episodes of Nickelodeon shows that were supposedly withheld from airing after the original airings. And yet, I recall seeing the episode air fairly regularly. I've heard about how the Hey Arnold episode, Arnold Betrays Iggy was pulled off Nickelodeon for years and not reairing again until The 90s Are All That reaired the episode. Yet, I remember seeing that episode fairly often and do not recall a single instance in which the episode was banned from airing.	Odd TV show episodes #1	Jul 01, 2015

4117	Article	blueluigi	The first I heard about it was during a car ride on my way to school. A friend of my sister's was telling us about these planes that hit the World Trade Center. After hearing that, this was talked about in class. Many people were shaken up during that event. I also remember coming home from school and seeing most TV programming being preempted for 9/11 coverage. I recall one of the only other networks that aired regular programming was USA Network with the Street Fighter movie. Still, this is a day that is very depressing looking back at it. It's a reminder that this world is not what we want it to be. That there's so much evil in mankind, regardless of who it is that started these attacks. It also doesn't help that our country went to war with a completely irrelevant country, with lots of innocent people killed because of that too. Thanks to George W. 4122	Article	blueluigi	Okay, I won't argue much about my previous response as I don't want to start another shitshow. I just want to refute a few things as I feel like my last sentence was taken out of context. I wasn't saying that Bush did 9/11. That last sentence was more so connected to the aftermath, where he declares war with Iraq, a country that has virtually nothing to do with the attacks, which Bush himself later admitted to be true. And yes, I know other countries hated us before that. I never said that no country on the planet hated us until Bush came to office, because, yeah, that is a load of crap. I was saying that Bush's response to the 9/11 is on fanning the flames on this situation. That is a part of it. Please read that last paragraph again more carefully before throwing any more accusations at me. We can go into actual theories as to what and who started 9/11, but I prefer not to.
