488 | Video | blueluigi | Wow. I knew Konami made the NES game, but I never knew about the arcade title. Given the little demand of Bucky O Hare nowadays, we probably won't see this released on any of the home consoles. | Mar 19, 2013
640 | Video | blueluigi | Yeah, I remember Cartoon Network would only show a Speedy cartoon once in a blue moon. They did make a Toonheads episode that featured Speedy Gonzales, but aside from that, there's been very few times I've seen them air Speedy cartoons outside of that. At least it prevents them from showing the Daffy and Speedy cartoons from the Seven-Arts era. Those cartoons were horrible. | Speedy Gonzales - Gonzales Tamales | May 10, 2013
650 | Video | blueluigi | It's basically a tile-matching puzzle game where you got to match each entire row with with the same-shaped cookie. The gameplay footage in the commercial only showed the first level. Most of the cookies are pretty scattered throughout the whole tile, and therefore, becomes more challenging. | Yoshi's Cookie commercial | May 13, 2013
685 | Video | blueluigi | Naughty Dog also worked on The Last of Us, which is coming out for the PS3. | Crash Bandicoot 2 demo | Jun 03, 2013
691 | Video | blueluigi | I still have the complete game. And you're right, it is sad that there's no music for this demo. Although I do like the illustrations that was used in the loading menus for this demo. That's something the full version doesn't have. | Cool Borders 2 demo Competition | Jun 10, 2013
692 | Video | blueluigi | My main problem with the game was how stiff the controls were. It seems like you have to really keep mashing the buttons on your controller in order for your character to even do anything. | WCW Nitro demo | Jun 10, 2013
718 | Video | blueluigi | And with this demo, it feels near to impossible to get anywhere beyond last place. Believe me, I played this demo since I was about 8, and not once have I gotten anywhere past last place. | Jet Moto 2 demo | Jun 18, 2013
720 | Video | blueluigi | I wasn't collecting Playstation Underground stuff but I did have a subscription to Playstation Magazine. I had a lot of demo discs from there and still do to this very day. I do have a few of the Playstation Underground Jampacks, which made me want to have a subscription to their magazine. Though, that ended up not happening. | Playstation Underground promo | Jun 18, 2013
756 | Video | blueluigi | The plot to the cartoon is similar to the comic used as the backstory for Nintendo Power. But instead of high school students, it involved video game testers. It also had a better story than what was used in the cartoon. The comic was also considered more canon to the video game. Also, despite having the same name, the David Wise who wrote this cartoon is NOT the guy that composed music for Rare. He was a writer for a number of cartoons throughout the 70s-90s. Namely, some Transformers episodes as well as the first five episodes of the TMNT cartoon. | Battletoads cartoon | Aug 05, 2013
765 | Video | blueluigi | For those who don't know, Michael Larson memorized these set patterns on the show by recording episodes off TV and playing them back again. He used them to his advantage and that's how he won that much. It's evident once you pay attention to his reactions. Sometimes, he would celebrate early before he even knew what it is he won. Although, his skill did eventually wear out at the end, and there were a few squares he landed on where he almost lost it all. Especially the last one where he lands on that trip to the Bahamas. | Press Your Luck - Michael Larson part 2 | Aug 21, 2013 |
