1636 | Article | MissM | I so remember the MK live tour. I never saw it but I had this Kollector's Edition magazine that featured images of the cast. It was so cool. This article was perfect at capturing that feel of the time. I remember so many debates in the cafeteria about the merits of Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat. Very cool images and a great article. | Mortal Kombat Memories | Dec 15, 2014
557 | Video | shakin steak | I sing this song many a morning before getting out of bed to go to work. "I don't wanna get up / I'm a stay-at-home kid" | Toys 'R Us-I Don't Want To Grow Up | Mar 29, 2013
2106 | Article | Vaporman87 | I should say that I certainly don't disregard the entire decade as "not that special". When I say that I felt it lacked it's own identity, I didn't mean that to say it wasn't still special. I know for those spending their formative years in the nineties, they were the most special decade ever. Thankfully, that decade had many things carry over from the eighties, and those kids could benefit from the spirit of the eighties. Something I don't think millennials can appreciate. | What the Nineties Mean to Me | Mar 19, 2015
5559 | Article | Vaporman87 | I should mention that our skating rink did NOT have a DJ. The owner just played records through the speakers. She would swap them out behind the counter as she collected entry fees. | Skating Through The Years | Dec 06, 2021
2191 | Article | EISXUOIS | I shared the same shocks as you with all three games. But there was another for me that was a shock- the death of Nei in Phantasy Star 2 on Genesis. Obviously I got over it but the world makes you dull to stuff that shocked you as a kid. It's good that you still have heart like that to be hurt from a characters death. I have felt nothing like that in games recently but in tv Game of Thrones has shocked me quite a bit. Good storytelling and good imagination let you leave the problems of this life for a while. I enjoyed reading your experiences. | Shock Me, Shock Me, Shock Me… | Apr 03, 2015 |
