3108 | Article | pikachulover | From grades 3rd-5th we had to use cursive and I sucked at it in all those grades. By 6th grade the teachers stopped caring and just wanted legible work. I also have an illegible signature. I don't do that cute girly writing. Strangely enough the mention of not teaching cursive in schools came up during a John Cena interview I saw 9 years ago when he was promoting his movie The Marine. And for the record he knows how to write in cursive. | Nov 17, 2015
3134 | Article | pikachulover | Those gumball machines and novelty phones were usually a prize on those 80s and early 90s kids game shows like Double Dare. My family didn't have any of those things. My aunt had a clear phone and another cousin on my other side of the family had one. When I was a kid I always wanted a gumball machine. | 3 Essential 80s Home Decor Items | Nov 28, 2015

3181 | Article | pikachulover | I was a strange age in both sides of the family. I'm the youngest on my mom's side. My 2nd cousin wasn't born until I was about 7. My cousins on my mom's side usually didn't bother me. They'd just put on a cartoon or something and I watch it and behave. As for the party presents. I'd just play with them and forget too except the CPK dolls. | What a Stuffy Party! | Dec 11, 2015

3286 | Article | pikachulover | I never had a bunk bed as a kid. Although I did want one for a while until my mom said it was not very practical for me to have one. That and my fear of earthquakes combined led to me not having a bunk bed. My friend in high school lofted his bed. He was strange he moved around the furniture in his room at least once a month and his room was not that large. He told me to loft my bed too. The problem with his bed was that was not constructed it very well. He just added beams to a regular bed. It looked like it was going to topple over if you sneezed by the thing. If I remember correctly he wanted his computer under his lofted bed. I had a few relatives with bunk beds. But they usually slept on the bottom and put their toys on the top bunk. | Bunk Beds | Jan 19, 2016
3363 | Article | pikachulover | I definitely remember getting a few Ninja Turtles ones. I also got California Raisins, Berenstain Bears, Nerds and Garfield. When I first went to school I used to give really girly Valentines like Care Bears and Minnie Mouse. Then I moved onto ones for boys and girls like Chipmunks, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Rugrats. I liked getting sports themed Valentines they were something different. I remember getting NFL ones. | Rad Retro Valentines | Feb 14, 2016 |
