3298 | Article | Vaporman87 | It's great to see some animated vehicles make this list, being a big fan of the Thunderhawk (it adorns the front page here!) and the Party Wagon. I can think of no vehicle from television that could hold the number one spot aside from K.I.T.T. It truly belongs there, without a doubt. The General Lee and A-Team van are also very deserving of spots in the list. Actually, I can't think of any 80's TV vehicles more deserving of being here in the top 5. | Feb 01, 2016
3310 | Article | massreality | I'm pretty happy with your list, but there is no way Thunderhawk trumps the Ecto-1. Come on! | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | Feb 03, 2016
3311 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was sitting here thinking, "But Ecto-1 was a movie based car". However, it was in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, wasn't it? So I guess it COULD qualify in this list. | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | Feb 03, 2016
3315 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @massreality You're right, I totally spaced on Ecto-1 since I wasn;t thinking about the animated series. Now that I think about it, Inspector Gadget's GadgetMobile was pretty awesome too, so it gets a runner-up prize. | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | Feb 05, 2016
3532 | Article | DirtyD79 | I loved the General Lee when I was a kid. It's one of my favorite TV show cars. I don't think I really paid much attention to the plot of the show, I just thought it was so cool watching the car jumping over stuff and all the chases. Some guy down the street from us had one and I always liked to walk down just to look at it. I also think it's pretty cool how during Mopar Days at Carlisle, PA they have a whole row of General Lee Chargers along with a row of the 1970s Dodge Monaco and Plymouth Gran Fury cop cars like in the show. Granted I would grow up to be more of a Ford guy but I still can't forget just how much I loved that car as a kid. | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | Apr 30, 2016
3537 | Article | Vaporman87 | I would have loved to have seen all those "Dukes" cars in one place as a kid. | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | May 01, 2016
3547 | Article | SockofFleagulls | I love that you included Thunder Hawk. I could easily make this list all M.A.S.K. vehicles. However, the Coyote X from Hardcastle and McCormick is an awesome TV car that's obscure enough to get overlooked often. Others in consideration should be Colt Seaver's 4x4 from Fall Guy and Magnum P.I.'s Ferrari. Animated, how about that transforming convertible from Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats or Filmation Ghostbusters car? | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | Dec 08, 2016
3297 | Article | Vaporman87 | I, unfortunately, never owned this awesome piece of Marvel history. But I did have many similar activity books prominently featuring other properties. Most of those were either Masters of the Universe or Transformers related. I still own a Masters of the Universe Sticker book, complete with some of the stickers that were meant to fill it's pages. I didn't manage to get many of the stickers though, so most of the spots meant for the stickers are blank. Maybe I should search Ebay for what I need to finish it, eh? | Mighty Marvel Jumbo Fun Book | Feb 01, 2016
3295 | Article | Vaporman87 | This was a very emotional read, and really well done. I can think back to my time in school, and watching some of my fellow classmates suffer like you. I myself was the target of the occasional bully, though not nearly to this extent. I somehow managed to find a place in school that kept me out of the crosshairs for the most part, and even allowed me to have some civil relationships with those who might otherwise have bullied me. I can't imagine the bullying I did receive being multiplied to such a degree that I feared going to school every day, and felt like there was no help for me. Now that I am a father of school age children myself, I see the act of bullying from a totally different perspective. I would be furious to find out such things were happening to my child, and the school would come to fear my phone calls if such things ever happened routinely. I am not one of those people who believe our children today are becoming spoiled and weak because we are more serious about bullying in our schools these days. Bullying is something that no child should have to endure. I do believe that kids today are indeed more apt to BE spoiled and weak, but not because of our approach to bullying in schools today. Thank you for sharing this difficult set of memories with us Rick. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am glad you overcame all that adversity. | Being Bullied | Feb 01, 2016
3303 | Article | Hoju Koolander | It's great to hear you had such supportive parents, my Mom had to talk me through some tearful moments as well, when I couldn't understand why I was such a target for bullies. Obviously I know where you're coming from, but it never got this intense. Physical injuries? Moving out of state? I'm glad to hear that high school was fun and you were able to make it through. Seriously, you had some good folks. | Being Bullied | Feb 02, 2016 |
