5564ArticleVaporman87I whole-heartedly agree. That is awesome though that the place is still kicking. I'm kind of in the reverse situation in that the mall I most frequented is actually thriving. Then again, it's in West Virginia, so they're like 20 years behind the curve, LOL. Skating Through The YearsDec 07, 2021View
1124ArticleVaporman87I will admit, I could not wait until you had finished this piece to read some of it, so I used my webmaster mojo to dig it up and read some of it while in draft form. LOL. Pardon my impatience. Such a great article. And a fun and poignant reflection of what summer was like in the vkimo house. From the bbq on the grill, to the chlorine filled pools... I can almost smell the memories. This cracked me up every time: "Ah yes, I remember this themed BBQ. Wear your girlfriend's shorts". I also never went to any summer camp. However, as I have previously mentioned elsewhere, I did attend two summers worth of college preparatory programs on the campus of OU. Those are summers I'll never forget. It was a taste of the freedom of college come years early. And I made friendships that, though they did not last, will be forever etched within my mind. Thanks for this vkimo! 5191ArticleVaporman87I will confess, this is one of those films from the '80s that I have yet to watch. However, during this lockdown situation I have been scratching a few films like this off my list (most recently 'Dune') so I may finally get around to enjoying this one. I love the car design. 603Articleshakin steakI will keep an eye out for DiTillo episodes. I mainly recognized Dini from his credits on Batman TAS. First time I saw his name on the opening shot of a He-Man episode I was like "Holy ****!" I think that was my first clue that there is some quality in there. I've watched a few episodes of Bravestarr; so far it hasn't really grabbed me. Same with Ghostbusters.New Eyes on He-Man and She-RaMay 03, 2013View
