3200ArticlevkimoGet me a ticket on that time machine too! I like the tradition of taking your daughters gift shopping on separate days. My daughter is 1, so might be a few years. @Vapor I have XM as well and have channe 13 Holly and 18 X Mas Traditions, are they any different? Dec 12, 2015View
3226ArticleVaporman87Ha! This is so awesome. So these people really set this up in their house and you could tour it? I want to do that!!! The T-Rex Angry Santa and freaky-deaky tiny pants elf are worth the price of admission alone. Those characters should be somehow enshrined by your old home town. Make it so. Can't wait to see what other strange and unsettling things were holed up in this house of Christmas horrors. LOLRetro Christmas Wonderland Part 1Dec 15, 2015View
3229ArticlemickyarberYeah....this dude seemed to be out there a little bit. BUT, it has given me an idea of something to do with a box of old, random, assorted action figures. Maybe I'll do something like this next year. Build a pop culture Christmas party featuring Rambo, Mr. T, Hulk Hogan, Alf, He-Man, and the rest. Seems like that would have been a unique evening touring the place. Can't wait to see the rest.Retro Christmas Wonderland Part 1Dec 19, 2015View
3233ArticleVaporman87Those people should be brought up on charges of Teddy Bear cruelty... making him sit alone on an endless train ride. Clearly they have no soul.Retro Christmas Wonderland Part 2Dec 21, 2015View

3189ArticleVaporman87Great memory to share V. Thanks for that. It warms the heart! We do indeed make sure to take part on "Angel" Tree giving during this season. Sometimes it's as simple as a tag on one at the local grocer. Other times, it's church that is handling the exchange. Never have I heard of actually inviting the recipient to dinner at home. That is extremely generous, and that individual is truly a kind soul. I hope that one day you're able to find that family, and offer thanks to them. Christmas YuleogyDec 12, 2015View
3191ArticlefuschniktLove this. I can relate to hand-me-down toys and Goodwill clothes. My parents saved money wherever they could. Now-a-days, our church does the giving tree thing, too. Every year my family grabs two, a boy and a girl. At our church it is pretty anonymous, so inviting anybody to dinner would be out of the question. Sometimes I wonder what the reaction would be to the gifts we put together. Mostly, though, I'm just happy to be giving. I'd love to see this awesome picture you mention sometime. 3192Articlevkimo@fuschnikt Here you go, its a painting by Jaro Hess in the 30s I believe. Its a map of the fairytale kingdoms. So much going on in it and I would look at it for long strands of time just taking it all in. <img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2335/1189/1600/jaro.jpg">Christmas YuleogyDec 12, 2015View
3193ArticlefuschniktThat truly is awesome! Thanks, man. I dig it. I can totally see looking at that thing for hours.Christmas YuleogyDec 12, 2015View
3195ArticleNLoganYeah that one hits right in the childhood. Angel trees were always anonymous here as well. Never heard of the benefactor giving the stuff personally. Christmas YuleogyDec 12, 2015View
