5212Articlevkimo@Nlogan - Wow, it has been almost a decade..and at least 2 decades since those events transpired. I agree, an excused absence is the way to go, the lack of guilt would make even the Chess Club a blessing. So did the buddy ditch too? His parents must have been at work @Vapor - Me and my friends did that too! After lunch after everyone spilled out, we'd sneak back into the classrooms. It was surreal and I remember one time almost getting caught by the janitor. Good times May 29, 2020View

5396ArticlevkimoI think Gold/Silver were the apex of Pokemon games. They took the original formula, added a few cool features and executed a wondeful game. I still remember the goofy phone calls I would make to the trainers in my contacts haha - although overall I think I enjoyed playing Sapphire Version the most. Really liked the secret hideouts.Remembering Pok'emon Gold and SilverFeb 23, 2021View
5438ArticlevkimoWhere in PA do you live? I moved here from California and there's not really any corner stores. Back in Cali we had one right up the street called Frank's - It was always a treat making the 2 block journey to it and scoring some candy. The Corner StoreJun 09, 2021View

231ArticleRetrosc7Pokemon still held its own throughout the '00s and like you said is still popular in the '10s (the games at least are selling well). Once a franchise has maintained a level of fame like Pokemon has for FIFTEEN years, it's not really just a 'fad' anymore. It's closer to being a 'classic' (with the 90s and maybe the early 2000s being the 'golden years') that now has its own place in history with the likes of Mario and other long-lasting franchises.Article Classic: The Pok'emon FadJan 30, 2013View
