909ArticleVaporman87I think the length was just right. Just enough information to relay your fond memories without going into mundane details. It's easy to relate to, and that makes it a memorable read.ThatDude's Christmas MemoriesDec 14, 2013View

4050ArticleVaporman87I think the saturation of "ninja" in the late 80's was it's peak. Even I had a full on ninja outfit (as ordered from one of the many ninja magazines I had), including foam nun chucks, rubber throwing stars, and a sword. You couldn't escape it. Everyone wanted to be a ninja. Revenge of the Imaginary Ninjas!Aug 22, 2017View
3433ArticleVaporman87I think the sheer amount of General Lee merchandise that was produced over the years definitely helps you get a better perspective on the marketing behemoth that was the Dukes. The show was huge. I wonder if any of the stars got a cut of the profits from the sale of all that licensed stuff?Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 11, 2016View
966ArticleVaporman87I think the show that most captured my attention as a kid that had a particular focus on wildlife was Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I can remember coming home from church on Sundays and sitting down on the couch to enjoy that show. I can still hear the show announcer ringing in my ears, introducing the show following commercial breaks. Great show, that was.Long Lost 90s: Really Wild AnimalsJan 30, 2014View

5599ArticleVaporman87I think there are levels of disappointment that could be discussed here, but I'm going to stick to the less personal ones... more focused on product and school life than life at home and relationships. I was very disappointed when Masters of the Universe abruptly went belly up in '87. They had some pretty cool things planned that would have been awesome to see on shelves, even though I was growing out of collecting them around that time. I was disappointed that a school levy that would have created a brand new high school that would have been ready by the time my age group arrived there did not pass.Top four disappointing moments of childhoodFeb 08, 2022View
1534ArticlepikachuloverI think there really could have been a Simpsons inspiration. This story happened in 1994. The boys had the star hats and I think they either had wands or fake candle props. The Worst Christmas School Production in the WorldNov 28, 2014View
