Article | Lazlo | I think it was an important moment, if you were like me growing up (and as an adult). I was the bookworm who spent a lot of time at the library, with an interest in nerdy stuff like history. I think these '80s nerd flicks, as campy and comical as they are on the surface, actually had a deeper message. It was about appreciating being nerdy and being into knowledge, and not being ashamed of it . . . and having fun with it too. Real Genius is still one of my fave flicks. | May 04, 2017 | ![]() |
Video | Benjanime | i think it was rareware's last "good" game. well to me anyway. donkey kong 64 was indeed their longest game, but the majority of that had to do with collecting a bunch of things and playing minigames. i think working in 3D was rareware's weakness when you compare these to their 2D games | Banjo-Kazooie VHS Toys "R" Us Promo | Feb 19, 2013 | ![]()
Article | Benjanime | i think it would've been interesting to see a fully playable beta, since the residents of delfino were human-looking folk when the original game trailer was shown. | Article Classic: Super Mario Sunshine Review | Aug 01, 2015 | ![]()

Article | Vaporman87 | I think it's their limitations that made some of the standouts like Vader impressive. The ones who could, as cbf mentioned, perform acts of balance, agility, etc. really impressed us. And those like Nash and Undertaker made up for theirs with presentation. | Top 5 Best Big Men in Wrestling History | Nov 30, 2014 | ![]()

Article | Superman | I think it's totally cool that you managed to get published in the school newspaper, even if it did take some convincing before you managed to get in there. A superhero version of your school mascot battling supervillain versions of rival school mascots? Everybody at that school should have gone for that idea. | Childhood Comic Creations | Oct 04, 2017 | ![]()
Article | Mr Magic | I think Kurt Cobain had something to do with flannel shirts being cool. I miss the Nabisco Thing, btw. What made the 90s great for me was playing Sega Genesis and watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network every day. Yep, it was a special time. | What the Nineties Mean to Me | Mar 19, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Hoju Koolander | I think more kids should get the gift of stilts. Pogo sticks and unicycles are so played out, only the truly original choose stilts. Seriously, that's awesome. | Retro Christmas Presents | Dec 14, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Vaporman87 | I think much of the reason that the She-Ra series seemed to benefit from better stories and backgrounds, was that the team at Filmation had lots of time to flesh out stuff and hone their development of the property first with He-Man. I could be wrong, but I've heard that said in "He-Man" circles for years. Also... Hordak may be a step up from Skeletor, but at least He-Man only had ONE annoying comic relief. In She-Ra we get anywhere for two to four of those (Madam Razz, her broom, Kowl, and Hordak's pet). LOL | New Eyes on He-Man and She-Ra | Sep 02, 2014 | ![]()
