3212 | Article | Vaporman87 | Indeed. My parents eventually became friendlier to each other as well. By the time mom was in the late stages of her cancer, they had all but forgotten the "bad old days". It was very difficult to deliver the message from my father to my mother that he was sorry for the way things turned out for them. He wanted her to know it before she left this old world. If nothing else, Christmas is a reminder to me to let everyone I care about know my appreciation for them. Even if it's awkward or uncomfortable. | Bah Humbug! | Dec 13, 2015

952 | Article | Fulton4V | In the early 00s I bought some of the Mad max toys that were figures. They reminded me of Gijoe or Star Wars figures. I dont know how made them. | Dream Toys | Jan 24, 2014
1105 | Article | kstrom22 | In preparation for Jurassic World I should sit down and watch all three JP films back to back, then I can judge them all as an "adult." I'm looking forward to how they continue the story. I still have my Lost World pillow-case, but the pajamas I got that Christmas are a bit too small for me now. | A Lost World Birthday | May 30, 2014
5134 | Article | Vaporman87 | In my youth, I had several of the figures. I recall not liking the varying heights of the characters. Lion-O was like a giant, while Panthro was like the ThunderCats version of Wolverine... short and stubby. That annoyed me. Plus I was used to the MOTU style of figure, with all the characters being the same height, proportion, etc. Still, the cartoon was awesome and there was tons of other cool merch out there. | Vintage ThunderCats Merchandise | Mar 05, 2020
2649 | Article | Vaporman87 | In my teenage years, I don't think I was ever escorted to the Principal's office (except one "faux" escort that was done to scare me - that's another story). But in my elementary school years, I was there a time or two. Mostly because we were horsing around in the school when we were supposed to be outside for recess. You see, we had this club that we called The Destroyers (and later... C.Y.G.A. "Citizen Young Guardian Avengers"... LOL). Our mission was simple: Stay inside the school during recess, and don't get caught. Well, while we were quite stealthy for our age, we didn't always escape the roaming eyes of the teachers. | The Principal's Office | Sep 15, 2015 |
