ArticlemunkysrenchYeah I remember that. (Our stepdad) Tim was PISSED! Oh yeah, remember in that cul-de-sac picture where the basketball hoop was? I played many a game of street basketball there.. Aug 06, 2015View
ArticlemassrealityThe Karate Kid and JCVD inspired me at a very young age to take up martial arts. I started in Tae Kwon Do and really loved it. My mom decided to start taking alongside me since she had to sit through the classes anyway. It sort of became an obsession for her, and we started going every single night until I finally just refused to go anymore. She ended up getting a job with the school and fifteen years later, she opened up her own school that she still operates to this day. As an adult, I took Krav Maga for a couple years, but after a few injuries I decided it truly wasn't worth it. It's a lot cheaper and easier to go take a conceal carry class and buy a cheap handgun. :)The Karate Class KidAug 06, 2015View
ArticlemassrealityBeavis and Butthead and Singled Out defined my pre-teen years. Man, do I miss that time. I also have some extreme nostalgia for MTV Spring Break Out. I looked forward to that every single year.MTV: The 90'sAug 06, 2015View
ArticlemassrealityI bought Super Mario Sunshine and played maybe five minutes of it. I regret not spending the time to truly see what the game brought to the table. I wish they'd released a Virtual Console version of it. I'd love to give it another go. I also have to second Benjamime with the Mario Galaxy recommendations. Man, those games are amazing. They never get old.Article Classic: Super Mario Sunshine ReviewAug 06, 2015View
ArticleBenjanimewith a virtual console release they'd have to force using the gamecube controller. when shooting water there were two different uses with the shoulder button, holding it slightly would let mario run around while shooting water, while completely holding the button down would have mario shooting water while standing in place and aiming.Article Classic: Super Mario Sunshine ReviewAug 06, 2015View
ArticleoniparGood review! I've only recently purchased a Gamecube, and while I've enjoyed some games, I have to say, the inability to change the inverted axis for games like this one and Luigi's Mansion ruins the games for me. It's my own damn fault for not being able to adapt, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it, and so end up having to stop playing those games. Which of course is the pits.Article Classic: Super Mario Sunshine ReviewAug 06, 2015View

Articlekstrom22heh "dig," I get it... Thank you. My brother and I also used to road over abandoned and overgrown areas of my hometown. Now that I'm a history teacher I can go on a treasure hunt with a whole new generation, it's great! One of my students actually asked me if I'd ever heard of "The Goonies!"Digging for TreasureAug 07, 2015View
Articlekstrom22This is a classic conundrum, while I can't in good conscience these days condone cheating, it does break the child's heart within me that our current crop of kids weren't raised on the classic cheat games like Candy Land. I heard they introduced a spinner! Truly the end of a cheat-era. Cheatin'Aug 07, 2015View
Articlekstrom22I'm so glad to see my own experiences were shared by others from different times and places. And so grateful at the response to my own little slice of history. Now I live in Arizona: no real "trees" around here for tree-houses, but I'm too lazy to build one anyway. There is a new playground right across the street; it has a tower, tunnels, a true modern castle. Someday, if I have kids, they'll be the kings and queens. Castles of YesteryearAug 07, 2015View
