4814ArticleVaporman87It’s the comfort of simpler times and a relative freedom from the responsibilities and concerns of present day that constitute the “magic”, in my opinion. That and the perception in your youth that the future holds endless possibilities. Jan 28, 2019View
3626ArticlemassrealityIt’s refreshing to hear some of the forbidden topics of Christmas talked about. I guess, what it all boils down to is, most of us as children, are a little ungrateful and self-centered. We just focus on the things we want, and we can’t think of anything else. I do think the whole gifts from extended relatives affected me more as a person than most people. I hate to give a gift if it isn’t useful or desired. Christmas 64Dec 22, 2016View
3625ArticlemassrealityIt’s nice to see someone else who appreciates the non-traditional Christmas television episodes. As I’ve gotten older, I actually prefer to watch Christmas episodes of some of my favorite TV shows over Christmas movies. My personal favorite is Home Improvement, but I also like to watch episodes from Just Shoot Me and other 90’s sitcoms. Christmas with SupermanDec 22, 2016View
3610ArticleVaporman87It's weird to see Howey Mandel as that character, but that casting actually makes sense to me. He is good at that sort of manic, off beat weirdo. It's kind of neat that you have made a tradition out of your favorite show. Christmas with SupermanDec 20, 2016View
4222ArticlemickyarberIt's weird that I don't remember ANY of these cartoons. Before I got cable, we would watch reruns of The Three Stooges and the Little Rascals on a local channel before church. Once I got cable, it USA's Cartoon Express on Sunday mornings. With cartoons like Dyno Mutt, Space Ghost, Honk Kong Phooey and more, it was a fun lineup. In 2000 when I got married, we got DirecTV and Boomerang, and I absolutely loved Boomer Action on SUndays. All morning long was just back to back shorts mixed up from the Superfriends, Aquaman, Sealab 2020, Thundarr, Herculoids, and more.SUNDAY Morning CartoonsDec 06, 2017View
209ArticleVaporman87It's very nice to finally get to read the entire article. (For those who don't know, ProphetSword and I had some difficulty figuring out why the entire article would not make it through to the Admin Panel approval area) And now that I get to read the whole thing, I am really glad I did. This was a really nice look into a game I would otherwise have never known about. Thanks for this PS. It was a great read.CLASSIC GAMES: Lazy Jones for the Commdore 64Jan 26, 2013View
4604ArticleSupermanIt's very cool that a kid of today would be into a cartoon from the '80s. That's very rare. I can kind of relate to him, though, because I was hugely into things from my mom's childhood in the '60s that none of my friends knew anything about, most especially the Beach Party movies starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. This was back in the '90s and early '00s, so things like that just weren't a big enough part of pop culture anymore for my friends to have heard of them.Interview With A 10 Year Old He-Man FanOct 06, 2018View
5719ArticleBenjanimeIt's unfortunate that the older arcade games at my local arcade eventually got put into the far back as the years went by, it was like a sign that they were eventually going to be replaced one way or another and it saddened me because I had so many memories as a kid playing them. I mostly got to play The Simpsons game for whatever days my parents had taking interest in going out to the mall to walk around. But of course I didn't have enough quarters to make it to Mr. Burns.PatManQC: Video Game HistorianAug 10, 2023View
5440ArticleBenjanimeit's unfortunate that school field trips weren't as often as we'd hoped when we were younger, well, at least for me anyway. i suppose it had to do with the schools asking parents for the required money but even so just going on one felt like an adventure.Homesick: Rochester Museum and Science CenterJun 10, 2021View
5702ArticleBenjanimeit's unfortunate that eek! the cat just faded away into obscurity. apparently after the saban company bought out the property they didn't give a crap about it and wanted it gone so their own shows could get more attention. there hasn't even been any talks of a dvd release after all these years.5 Fox Kids shows I want to see on Disney PlusJan 21, 2023View
