2708 | Article | massreality | I loved the Silk Stockings theme song, and totally forgot how rockin ER's was! | Sep 22, 2015
2771 | Article | Poshy2005 | I'm right there with you about tv intos. It always bugs me that I like the into but not show. | TV Theme Songs I Loved, But Never Cared For The Show | Oct 05, 2015
2731 | Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. It is funny to see all the very well thought out costumes going on in the main area where the dance is (in Karate Kid), and compare them to the garbage that the poor extras outside of there were forced to wear. It was as if they took everything that was of decent quality and dressed the extras dancing in those, then they robbed somebody's yard sale for the rest. Then they couldn't even be bothered to put the costumes on them the right way. So funny! | Halloween Costume Hide and Seek in Movies | Sep 30, 2015
2736 | Article | jkatz | Those sh*tty Spiderman and Captain America costumes from The Adams Family remind me of the ones in 3 Dev Adam. Wouldn't surprise me if the filmmakers for both movies got them from the same source. | Halloween Costume Hide and Seek in Movies | Oct 01, 2015
2737 | Article | pikachulover | Somebody wrote an article about this, but with an episode of the Winx Club. http://www.michaelsfavorites.com/winxclub2_02/hallowinx.html | Halloween Costume Hide and Seek in Movies | Oct 01, 2015
2711 | Article | Vaporman87 | That's a great story. It's always nice to hear of places opening up that try very hard to recapture the magic of a golden era. I wish them all the success in the world. In a place like Jacksonville there should be no shortage of customers, but around these parts such a place would probably have difficulty surviving. | Rescued By A Fistful of Quarters | Sep 24, 2015
2716 | Article | Dravenkid7 | these also do gaming tournaments and events. Jacksonville is pretty huge but everyone loves this place. I lost when i played against a guy in the arcade but I didn't care. I was stoked just to play in a real arcade again. | Rescued By A Fistful of Quarters | Sep 25, 2015
2712 | Article | echidna64 | Great read onipar, thank you for sharing your memories and precious photos from your childhood! By the way, you totally look like Fred Savage in that one picture with your brother! | Forever Living in Halloween | Sep 24, 2015
2713 | Article | Vaporman87 | Very nice. I totally empathize with you regarding your thoughts and feelings of the season. It comes and goes way too quickly, and our door to simpler, carefree times closes long before we're ready. I typically feel this same way about Fair Week. Much like Halloween (even more so in my case), it is a week long trip back in time. I walk the grounds constantly recalling my feelings and memories of my childhood... my dread of the coming school year, balanced with a bit of excitement that I'll get to hang with my friends again. The search for that girl I had a crush on - hoping to catch a glimpse of her in a less controlled environment like school. The fun of riding the rides and the camaraderie of daring to experience them together with your buddy. All of that comes flooding back to me when Fair Week comes. Halloween gives me similar feelings, though the actual event provides me far fewer days of memories, since it is one night of the year. But leading up to the event, there is still plenty to recall and revel in. So breathe it all in. Stop and just reminisce any chance you get. I know you will. | Forever Living in Halloween | Sep 24, 2015
2714 | Article | onipar | Oh wow, Fair Week sounds kinda amazing. Yeah, I agree though, my memories typically come from the entire autumn season, and not only Halloween night. Thanks, Echidna! Fun fact: I met Fred Savage once outside a Phish concert. | Forever Living in Halloween | Sep 24, 2015 |
