3896ArticleSupermanNice article. I'm quite fond of 1997, myself. I remember it mostly for the hype surrounding Titanic. A lot of kids at my school were really into that movie at the time. I enjoyed your look back at the early days of the Internet, too. I remember searching the Web for pictures of my favorite celebrities, as well, though mine were different from yours. May 16, 2017View
3648ArticleSupermanNice article. I remember the Christmas that I received my first video game console fondly. It was a Super Nintendo, and the fun I had playing it set me on the path to being the Nintendo fan that I am today.A Very Sega ChristmasJan 01, 2017View

2388Articlekstrom22Nice article! When I was in 3rd Grade my teacher tumbled some rocks and each of the students took one home. I still have it on my shelf. Naturally, I begged for one but my parents said "no" or "wait until Easter." By the time the Easter Bunny brought it, though, I had moved on to something else. Maybe I should go get one now!Yesterdays: Things I DIDN'T Have As A KidJul 13, 2015View
2049ArticleOldSchool80sNice article! I fondly remember the Ninja trilogy featuring Sho Kosugi. I think I did an issue on those myself once upon a time. But you are right about Cannon being such a big part of cheesy 80s action flicks. An Ode to Cannon FilmsFeb 24, 2015View
5531ArticleoniparNice article! Don't know how I missed this one. I had the NES and then the Genesis too. Were always late adopters, so by time I was choosing, it was between the Genesis and the SNES. For whatever reason, the Genesis really captured my attention and that was the one I begged for, finally getting it as a graduation present from elementary school. I never did own my own SNES as a kid (got one as an adult when I started collecting), but my neighbor had one, so I got to experience a little of the main games at least. 3163Articleechidna64Nice article! A video game marathon is a great way to take advantage of all the free time. When everyone is home for a holiday my brothers and I usually do a 24-hour LAN party. However, you might have sparked a new controversy this contest- is it retro? The Post-Christmas Video Game MarathonDec 10, 2015View
