3815ArticlepikachuloverI happened to find your channel a few days ago by chance. I was looking for local LA stuff on youtube. I usually just put station call letters in to youtube's search function and see what comes up. KTTV used to air Kideo TV so early on Saturday mornings.  Apr 01, 2017View
3768ArticleVaporman87My word... there is so much gold here. I know a few times I have encountered EXO Man on the web, with people trying to claim it as an "Iron Man" TV series. Yeah, right. But man alive... John Denver the butt-kicking agent, tiny crime fighters and claymation guys??? I want all of these ideas thrown into one series. Let's call it "Z Force" and have Scott Bakula play the role of "Z", who sends his minions out into the world to solve global mysteries in their funky, pastel-colored minivan. 3770ArticlejkatzI saw footage of EXOman used in that "70s Avengers Into" video that was making the rounds online a few years ago. Cool to finally know where it's originally from. As far as pilots that didn't get picked up go, Heat Vision and Jack had a lot of potential going for it.Wackiest Failed TV Pilots Part 2Feb 22, 2017View
3771ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 I like your Z Force idea. They didn't work separately, but with their pilot powers combined... @jkatz Yeah, Heat Vision and Jack is probably the most well known failed TV pilot, but it wasn't laughably bad, just a missed opportunity.Wackiest Failed TV Pilots Part 2Feb 22, 2017View
3741ArticleVaporman87I would say that aside from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, The Breakfast Club is probably the John Hughes film I have watched most. We had it recorded on VHS tape and I would watch it often for years, especially when a cousin or friend was over. It was the ultimate expression of life for the '80s kid. Though I didn't quite fall into any one of the categories of student that were present in The Breakfast Club, I related most with Brian. But I had the artistic side of Allison and had a few jock and slacker friends. I was a bit of an enigma I suppose. Thank you, John HughesFeb 12, 2017View
3745ArticleOldSchool80sI am one of the biggest John Hughes film fans you will find. Enjoyed your story!Thank you, John HughesFeb 12, 2017View
3950ArticleVaporman87Yes! I am very much looking forward to every article on this subject. I love old TV Guides and I enjoy your breakdowns of each show here. So many shows here that I've never heard of. Like you've mentioned, some of these really do have the star power, and on paper they should have been successes. But that isn't a guaranteed formula. The viewing public can be a fickle bunch. I don't think anybody was ready to see Jack Tripper in a marriage setting. And maybe people weren't as keen on high-tech motorcycles like they were talking Trans Ams. But some of these really seemed to have a good premise. I'd like to be able to catch some episodes of Paper Dolls, Call to Glory, and Hawaiian Heat. Craig T. Nelson, Elisabeth Shue, AND Keenan Wynn?! Yes please.1984 TV Guide Fall Preview: ABCJun 21, 2017View
3952ArticleLazloI remember an episode of Call To Glory where one of the characters took part in the March on Washington, but dont recall much else. I do remember many of the other shows, some which I've seen and some I've only heard of. Makes me miss the '80s!!! 1984 TV Guide Fall Preview: ABCJun 21, 2017View
3954ArticleNLoganI watched plenty of Who's the Boss?, saw Airwolf in person at an air show, and had a knock off cheap motorcycle toy that I used to pretend was street hawk. 1984 TV Guide Fall Preview: ABCJun 21, 2017View
3969ArticleOldSchool80sLove this and look forward to more especially from the 80s. Sad that I don't even remember half of the shows you listed. Remember Three's a Crowd being disappointing especially since I absolutely love Three's Company. I do remember the hype around Paper Dolls, but don't remember watching it. This is some fun stuff. Can't wait for more.1984 TV Guide Fall Preview: ABCJun 22, 2017View
