3789ArticleHoju KoolanderI always love to hear people's comic book fandom origin stories. I too was caught up in the hype of Superman's death and aftermath, with a deep love of Wizard from cover to cover for many years. I recently picked up the Emerald Dawn run at a used book store and enjoyed it quite a bit, though Kyle Rayner will always be my GL for better or for worse (probably the latter). Mar 22, 2017View

4033ArticleHoju KoolanderI always remember the scene in Supergirl (the mo ie, not the show) where the bully student duo are trying to scald Kara in the shower by turning the heat all the way up behind the wall. Kara spots them with her x-ray vision, then uses her heat vision to burst the pipe and spray hot water all over the mean girls. Score one point for Supergirl!Top Scenes from 80s Movies featuring a Bathtub or ShowerJul 31, 2017View

4911ArticlejkatzI always thought Robocop vs. Terminator didn't get the appreciation it deserved (the Sega version, at least). I didn't even know there was a comic. The ideal video game movie for me would be a Contra adaptation made in the 80s..starring Stallone and Schwarzenegger, natch.Games to the big screenApr 20, 2019View
5796ArticleToad64I always thought the idea of the figures being able to play music was pretty cool. If I remember right, didn't only certain parts of the track play depending on the figure plugged in? Like you plug in Lincoln and you get the keyboard parts, something like that? Maybe my childhood self was making it up. Also I really enjoy the Game Boy game. It's a fun arcade platformer.Bill and Ted's Excellent MerchandiseApr 22, 2024View
