2955ArticleNLoganLoved the personal pictures and memories of your mom and your Halloweens of the past. I still believe in the magic of Halloween and the fun of becoming anything for one night. I am glad that Halloween was there to save you when you needed it most. Oct 15, 2015View
2956ArticleNLoganOh and by the way the blow mold skull trick-or-treat bucket in the first photo is made by Renzi and they are fairly easy to come by.I was born in love with Halloween. Oct 15, 2015View
2957ArticleNLoganI had the Hardee's ghost and it is still in a box of junk at my mom's house. I had several of the monster cereal prizes as a kid. We did have a few Mc Donald's pails Mc Boo, Mc Goblin, and Mc Punk'n around 1986 or so.Halloween Promotional Items of the 80s and 90sOct 15, 2015View
2960ArticleNLogan@DirtyD79 the Winchester Mystery House has been on my bucket list for a while being interested both in the western history aspect of the firearm as well as ghosts, one day I'll make it. Cool you have a picture with Sarah Winchester! or old lady tourist or ruffled curtains. I think the pareidolia aspect is pretty cool how our genetics make us recognize shapes that appear like faces as both a nurturing thing as babies as well as a self preservation thing against predators or competitors hidden in the background or lurking in the bushes since the earliest times. The best example I can give is little kids looking at clouds and imagining shapes. In these cases those shapes are recognized by our visual cortex as faces and because they shouldn't be there obviously that means they have to be ghosts or divine figures on toast or trees, right? What do you see in this late 19th century photo? A couple with a child in the middle wearing a cloche hat or bonnet, or the face of a divine figure in the middle?Searching for a Real Haunted HouseOct 16, 2015View
2967ArticleNLoganDefinitely reminiscent of Revenge of the Nerds but that was a poor man's Darth Vader knock off this was the real deal. The synth pop techno keyboard finally is classic but who could have guessed Alex would instead opt for the slow play and ditch the girl only to get her back once she had learned some humility in high school, then go cruising around in his Camaro? Could happen. I actually ignored my wife when I first met her because my twin brother had a crush on her and was drooling when she came over. Tower this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby. 2985ArticleNLoganA little weirded out hearing the Koolander's voice. Not exactly what I pictured my favorite black suited wall crawler's voice to be. Now we have seen the videos and pictures, now we have the adult voice. Next we will have your soul (read of course in an Andre the Giant as Fezzik as the Dread Pirate Robert's voice).
Back To The Future MemoriesOct 21, 2015View

3087ArticleNLoganGoonies II The Fratellis' Last Stand totally happened. Came out in 1987. They even had a video game for it. Yeah right, just like the time you ate your weight in Godfather's Pizza, or the time Michael Jackson came to your house to use the bathroom? Well maybe it never happened, but it should'a. The plot of the game was for Mikey to save the rest of the Goonies and a mermaid that were captured by the Fratellis. Top 5 80's Movie SequelsNov 05, 2015View
3091ArticleNLoganI also like Karate Kid II and really liked how the film started where the first film left off. In the parking lot after the tournament showing just how depraved John Kreese was by how he treated his students after in dealing with their loss. The Wrath of Khan is one of the best Star Trek movies for sure. I was always creeped out by those crazy earwigs they put in Chekov's ears. Top 5 80's Movie SequelsNov 08, 2015View
3157ArticleNLoganOne to remember is the Christmas tree from Gremlins. Bought from a tree lot and delivered by Corey Feldman in a Christmas tree costume to the house, it became the hiding place for a gremlin that nearly kills Billy's mother strangling her with tinsel. 5 Most Iconic Movie Christmas TreesDec 08, 2015View
