4099ArticleSupermanThis is such a cool look back in time. It's really jarring to see Mario advertised as being on a system other than Nintendo. He's so tied to Nintendo's systems these days that it's just weird thinking about playing one of his games on anything but a Nintendo system. Sep 03, 2017View
4098ArticleSupermanI was a huge fan of Fox Kids. The various incarnations of Power Rangers, Batman: The Animated Series, and Spider-Man: The Animated Series were some of my favorite shows on their lineup. I didn't often get to watch Fox Kids on Saturday mornings, but watching the block's afternoon lineup during the weekdays was my daily ritual after getting home from school.Five Childhood Programming Line Ups I LovedSep 03, 2017View
4096ArticleSupermanI second NLogan's comment that Valix is awesome. Who wouldn't want a flaming sword as a weapon?Me, Myself and MacReiSep 03, 2017View
4095ArticleSupermanNice job. I can tell why this was one of the winning articles. You obviously devoted a lot of time into turning Pooter into a star. Perhaps he is a well remembered icon of the '90s in some alternate universe. That would be kind of cool, wouldn't it?Oh Pooter!Sep 03, 2017View

4091ArticleSupermanDon't feel too bad that your original character was very similar to an existing character. I think most of us at that age based our "original" characters on the things we were watching on TV at the time.Russell - The Black-Eyed SimpsonAug 30, 2017View
4090ArticleSupermanWhat a nice, spooky story. It's pretty well written for an eleven-year-old. I love the illustrations, too.Haunted Hotel an 11 year old's narrativeAug 30, 2017View
4089ArticleSuperman@Vaporman - I'm sure they would all be great friends. Famous cats have got to stick together. :) @NLogan - At least you got to visit your dog at your grandma's place. I didn't mention it in the article because I thought it was kind of a downer, but I think I only got to visit the original Brownie once before the family member who adopted her moved to an apartment that didn't allow pets. We're not really sure what became of Brownie after that, but I hope that this family member found a new owner to adopt her and didn't just leave her to fend for herself. The Adventures of Junior, the World's Greatest Cat DetectiveAug 29, 2017View
4088ArticleRadical@Vaporman87: Yeah, I left it open-ended in case I ever wanted to repoot him. My skills have almost met my ambitions after all these years. I do feel Pooter's decade was the 90s, like Eddie Murphy's was the 80s. @NLogan: My brother and I would write letters to every business, enter every contest, and send in proof of purchases for every cool toy. Not sure how my parent felt about it, but they provided the stamps and envelopes. Snail mail was awesome in a way that social media isn't: tangible and professional. I always wanted Sonic or Mario to read my letters, which I'm sure they did. @vkimo: Hey thanks! The formatting worked its way out while I was writing it, but I had to start off with an obvious poot joke to clear the air. Would you believe the most time and effort went into identifying and finding fonts they used in 90s kids magazines? I eventually used a Scrapbook making software that had 1000 fonts in it.Oh Pooter!Aug 29, 2017View
