4783 | Article | Vaporman87 | Pumps, Doritos, Dan Quayle... they all scream 1989. Well done sir. This could just have easily been fodder for Dr Timewarp. I love that you had to work in Let's Go Back somehow. LOL. Nice. | Jan 08, 2019
1352 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Pretty unique selections here. So are these box art examples from Greek releases? Is that why I've never seen this wrap-around style of VHS art before? I feel like trips to the video store would have been even cooler if the back of the box wasn't just text and 2-3 small photos, but part of a complete mural. | The Lost Art of VHS Boxes | Oct 01, 2014

3774 | Article | jkatz | Pretty extensive list, this is-there's quite a few songs here that I never heard of, let alone listened to. Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love" would've been a good addition. | Top 80 Songs from the 80s with LOVE in the Title | Feb 24, 2017

2217 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Pretty awesome recollection of that brief moment in time. I wasn't allowed to drink caffeinated sodas, but the look of the Pepsi can prior to this re-design was such an iconic symbol of my childhood. I even invested in Pepsi Co. During my 6th grade stock market investment project. Way to dig up an not often discussed, but awesome topic. Well written too. | The Pepsi Gotta Have It Card | Apr 14, 2015

1026 | Article | Vaporman87 | Poor Modulok has been short changed here with a single commercial, while Glimmer has 9 images to show for her contributions. LOL. I did own Modulok from the original MOTU line, but remember very little about him. I had begun to lose interest in MOTU around the time of his release, having moved on to other, newer toys. But the combinations that could be made with his various parts seemed like a lame gimmick compared to some of the other MOTU offerings (I mean, Kobra Khan can shoot out water... Mosquitor can suck your blood... well, pretend to). My sister owned Glimmer and many other She-Ra figures, and the two of us would make the He-Man and She-Ra universes cross paths many times. I think I was a bit upset that my two female MOTU characters, Teela and Evil-Lyn, didn't have rooted hair. Why, I couldn't say. Considering I hated brushing/combing my own hair.
