4090 | Article | Superman | What a nice, spooky story. It's pretty well written for an eleven-year-old. I love the illustrations, too. | Aug 30, 2017
4092 | Article | NLogan | @Superman Thanks! @vkimo I missed my appointment. You should see our high school pictures if you line up the three of us it is hard to tell who is who between my dad and us. | Haunted Hotel an 11 year old's narrative | Aug 30, 2017
4135 | Article | Hoju Koolander | That's so cool, I dig the production values on your book. I never got 24 pages in on any of my pre-teen projects. Plus a trip to the site of many massacres? Glad you made it out alive. | Haunted Hotel an 11 year old's narrative | Sep 15, 2017
4039 | Article | NLogan | Hanna Barbera was the bomb. I was surprised to find out some of these shows were produced by them in the 90s I had no idea. My favorites were Scooby-Doo, the Flintstones, Shirt Tales, the Snorks, the Smurfs, Yogi Bear, Pac-Man, and the Jetsons. | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Aug 06, 2017
4040 | Article | Mr Magic | Top Cat, Yogi Bear, Flintstones and Jetsons are some favorites of mine. | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Aug 06, 2017
4041 | Article | OldSchool80s | I love Hanna-Barbera. But of the shows you listed, The Flintstones is the only one that would even be considered for my Top 5 (but probably would just miss it). I always loved the Laff-a-Lympics because it included so many of the characters. I also loved the Banana Splits as a live-action show. For regular cartoons, I think it is hard to not include Scooby Doo. I absolutely loved Super Friends. I would probably also include Hong Kong Phooey, Captain Caveman and Blue Falcon | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Aug 07, 2017
4045 | Article | Superman | I was very fond of Scooby-Doo during my childhood, much to my mom's dismay since she couldn't stand him. He's probably still my favorite Hanna-Barbera character, even now. | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Aug 07, 2017
4047 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Scooby-Doo ruled my pre-school years, but Hong Kong Phooey was always an odball treat along with Dyno-Mutt. Apparently I was tight with Hanna-Barbera's canine crew. | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Aug 09, 2017
4297 | Article | Michelangelo | Yogi Bear, Huck Hound, Flintstones, Scooby-Doo (Where Are You? and New Scooby Movies) and SWAT Kats were some of the best cartoons Hanna-Barbera put out. | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Mar 01, 2018
4111 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was with my wife (then girlfriend) in my work truck, delivering cylinders. We had stopped at a gas station to pick up something to eat. When I returned I heard on the news that a plane had hit the WTC. At first, I thought they meant a small passenger plane. Like some random person might have lost control and hit it. Then the second plane hit and more details emerged. These were not small planes, and it was no accident. The rest of the day I spent listening in on the radio as I worked. Then when I returned to the office I watched the images and was horrified. Like you said, never before had I felt more of a camaraderie with my fellow citizens than the weeks following the attacks. We were a country united under one common cause. Politics, race, social standing... all of that was gone for a brief moment in time. Tragic as it was, there was also beauty. Naturally, that wouldn't last. But it's something I can carry with me forever. | Where Were You That September Day? | Sep 11, 2017 |
