1448 | Article | pikachulover | I've made other "hodge podge" costumes, but they were all girly things. I mostly wore them in high school. And the box with all my "random costume pieces" has mostly girly stuff in there like plush animal ear headbands and fairy wings. I have other things in there like old bed sheets and some creepy cloth. One year that I passed out candy I put together this really nice goth style outfit with a lacy skirt and some striped socks. My original idea in 2010 was to dress as a cartoon character from an obscure Italian cartoon. Then I realized it wasn't very popular and nobody would recognize who I was dressed as. | Costume Redemption | Oct 17, 2014

1451 | Article | jkatz | pl, I don't know about anybody else, but I love costumes you throw together from whatever you have lying around the house. It's fun and you can get really creative and elaborate with it. I remember how one year I was pressed for time I so threw on a beret, tied a scarf around my neck, smeared my face with some makeup and went as "the snooty frenchman". Maybe that's a bad example but you get the idea. | Costume Redemption | Oct 18, 2014

1454 | Video | Vaporman87 | The specials are for Halloween and Christmas. So you'll get another chance in December to hang out in the Theater for that one. Then we sometimes watch low budget "B" movies in there as well. Just keep an eye on the forums, and also you'll get Community Messages when something is going to happen in the Theater. | RetroDaze Halloween Special 2014 | Oct 19, 2014

1456 | Article | Vaporman87 | Actually her last one was the first EVER. So now she has two. lol I like the idea of mixing themes, like the dress and clown. Something scary with something innocent. Lots of good combinations could be found in that. Ultimately it is about what you want to express about yourself. Even doing whole group themes (like my family doing the Scooby-Doo gang) shows a sense of teamwork/having fun together and love of family over ourselves individually. | Frilly and Scary | Oct 19, 2014 |
