2942 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @vaporman87 You are totally right on that Aeon Flux idea. Just stretch Dr. Scarab on the rack for a few days and he would fit right in. D'Compose is pretty nasty looking. By the way, your daughter and my wife are in agreement on Mumm-Ra. @NLogan That no-face zombie looks like The Blank from Dick Tracy lost his/her trench coat and had to make due with an old Halloween costume. | Oct 15, 2015
2972 | Article | Hoju Koolander | "We just robbed a bar", hilarious. This was a very engaging story with some unexpected twists and turns. You're a very talented writer, I am assuming you are also very attractive and have great taste in men. What do you say we get together this Halloween, get to know each other and you can bring that sleeveless Pebbles costume with you? Oh yeah we're already married, sooo, see you tonight? Congratulations on your first article, dear. | Halloween: 10 year old terror | Oct 18, 2015
2987 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @NLogan Yeah, I figured it might be a bit jarring for some to hear the voice behind the words. Hope it's not TOO annoying. Thanks for taking a listen. | Back To The Future Memories | Oct 22, 2015
2988 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Excellent choice for #1! "Cherish" was the first physical media music I ever owned. I got it as a vinyl record single for Christmas when I was 7. Never was a die hard Madonna fan after "Cherish", but she inspired Weird Al Yankovic's "Like A Surgeon" so I give her props for that. | Top 10 Madonna Songs from the 80s and 90s | Oct 23, 2015
3008 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @echidna64 Hey, send me a private message and we can talk about it. I'd be curious to hear some of your ideas and see if you could contribute down the road. | Back To The Future Memories | Oct 23, 2015
3009 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @Vaporman87 Glad you got a chuckle out of my ridiculousness. I did come across Nightmare in my research, just didn't have any personal experience with it. @mickyarber I'm excited to read more about Dark Tower, it's still a mystery to me after all these years. | 5 Spooky Board Games | Oct 23, 2015
3044 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @Vaporman87 It really is an unforgettable film. I think a lot of us unknowingly saw a Tim Burton film before Beetlejuice and Batman. A little movie called Pee-Wee's Big Adventure ring a bell? @GoonieGirl Thanks for giving the podcast a shot. It's a lot of fun to put together and I'm glad you're enjoying it. | Beetlejuice Bonanza | Oct 29, 2015
3045 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @Vaporman87 Empty Haunted Bathroom? That's a pretty awesome fear right there. @echidna64 Of course as a kid you'd never think of the obvious solution: Take the trash out in daylight. @comic_book_fan What finally convinced you that your family weren't aliens? It's very possible they just used a mind control ray on you and are still plotting to take over the Earth. | Childhood Fears | Oct 29, 2015
3046 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Speaking of Rifftrax, did you ever see John Mikl Thor's other direct to video outing "Zombie Nightmare" co-starring Adam West and Tia Carrere from Wayne's World? It was riffed by the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew on an episode. He's a baseball playing "hero" who gets killed and then resurrected as a Zombie. Oh and "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead is the opening theme. It's pretty fantastic. | Heavy Metal-Sploitation Part 3 | Oct 29, 2015
3047 | Article | Hoju Koolander | It was crazy to realize that from the Nintendo page on down, I had at least one item featured on every page at some point in my youth. Now most of it came second hand from garage sales as opposed to Christmas morning, but I totally played with most everything featured. My favorite was definitely the WWF toys, owning that ring was a dream come true. I love that there was a generic carrying case for the Masters of the Universe figures, like Sears wouldn't splurge to carry the official one. | The OTHER Good Thing About October | Oct 29, 2015 |
