4230 | Article | Vaporman87 | That Orko figure was always the subject of disappointment for me. I think they could have done a lot more with him, and come out with a few variants with different gimmicks. | Dec 22, 2017
4259 | Article | pikachulover | I have the morphing Kimberly figure from childhood. I took it to the beach and I used to play with it in my pool. She got a little rusty. This reminds me of a funny story about my 5th grade class had to build a model colonial village and we were put into groups. There was this guy who was a big Power Rangers fan and wanted to put his figures in the village. The other member of the group who made herself leader was a really mature girl and threatened me not to include any Power Rangers in our colonial village model. I was more interested in making milk carton houses and moss. Power Rangers didn't look colonial. Then I imagined a Power Ranger figure in a colonial outfit over their ranger suit. | Action Figure Reclamation Project Phase 2 | Dec 30, 2017
4262 | Article | OldSchool80s | Love the group photo at the end. Fun project! Look forward to seeing more as you add to the collection. | Action Figure Reclamation Project Phase 2 | Jan 01, 2018
4270 | Article | Superman | That's a nice set of action figures. I used to own that same Green Ranger figure. He was my favorite back then, so I snatched him right up when I saw him at the store. | Action Figure Reclamation Project Phase 2 | Jan 15, 2018
4260 | Article | mickyarber | You know I’m a big fan of the old cards, and I love reading your take on them. I just ordered a whole case of those American Gladiator cards from eBay and am anxiously awaiting their arrival! | Trading Card Treasures Vol. 2 | Dec 30, 2017
4269 | Article | Superman | I didn't have any of these, but those TMNT cards would have been the set that interested me the most back in the day. | Trading Card Treasures Vol. 2 | Jan 15, 2018
4207 | Article | pikachulover | KCOP used to show the most random Sunday morning cartoons. As a kid I liked the Paw Paw Bears. Fantastic Max was very popular with the kids in my kindergarten class in 1989/1990. Anything by Hanna Barbera or Harvey Toons on Sundays was ok with me. Adding Tom and Jerry to their Sunday morning lineup was always a treat. I used to watch Blinky Bill I think that was on KCOP. I love the Comic Strip. I used to be an editor for the TV.com page until somebody overtook my position. | SUNDAY Morning Cartoons | Nov 28, 2017
4208 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @pikachulover I knew you'd have my back on this one. Yep, KCOP Channel 13 was where I watched almost all of these cartoons, with the exception of the Marvel Action Universe, which played on KTLA Channel 5. Although I think the later version in the 90s called the Marvel Action Hour with Iron Man and Fantastic Four eventually played on KCOP. I'm blanking on Paw Paw Bears though. They look vaguely familiar, but I don't think I watched it. | SUNDAY Morning Cartoons | Nov 28, 2017
4209 | Article | comic_book_fan | i liked ironman and fantastic four cartoons and i was a big fan of usa's sunday morning lineup that had the mortal kombat street fighter and savage dragon cartoons. | SUNDAY Morning Cartoons | Nov 28, 2017
4210 | Article | jkatz | I found an unopened VHS tape of the Robocop cartoon at a thrift store once (in fact, it's the same one you used a picture of). It's interesting because until now, I've never heard anybody mention it, even in passing. In this nostalgic period where even the most obscure 80s cartoon gets its time in the sun, I'm going to guess this one was forgotten for a reason. You gotta love the tagline on the Dino-Riders toys, too. Why can't scientists forget about global warming and focus on discovering the important issues...like how to harness the power of dinosaurs!? | SUNDAY Morning Cartoons | Nov 29, 2017 |
