4473ArticleHoju Koolander3 precious road trips that sound way more unique than Disneyland. Seriously I want to to go to Wisconsin Dells now, what a wonderland of Americana. I also got a chance to ride an Elephant as a kid and that kind of stuff sticks with you for sure. Jun 19, 2018View
4483ArticleSuperman@Vaporman - Yes, these trips were very special. I had a lot of fun reminiscing about them while writing this article. @NLogan - Riding an elephant was a lot of fun. I totally consider myself fortunate to have experienced it. @pikachulover - It's so cool that you also had the opportunity to ride an elephant. I remember thinking it was so much higher from the ground compared to a horse, too. @Hoju - Yes, these trips really were something special. I totally recommend Wisconsin Dells. I hear that Wax World of the Stars and the American UFO Sci-Fi Museum are no longer around, but I believe the other things I wrote about are still around. Plus, I'm sure there are newer attractions that weren't there during my visit and things that were around when I went there that I just didn't get to see.My Childhood Family VacationsJun 20, 2018View
4501ArticleLazloWonderful account of your family trips. I have so many great family trip memories myself (See http://www.retro-daze.org/site/article/id/9302), including past memories of going to these cool attractions: Riverwalk in San Antonio Texas, South of The Border in South Carolina, the Incline in Chattanooga.) And caves were part of it too: Skyline Caverns in Virginia, and Ruby Falls in Tennessee. JUst great memories I'll never forget. My Childhood Family VacationsJul 29, 2018View

4402ArticleSupermanI was first introduced to this song while in college. It always struck me as strange that such an upbeat sounding song had such a sad meaning behind it. It kind of reminds me of one of my favorite singers of the '60s, Bobby Darin, who always sounded so happy as he sang about topics like murder and death.Nena's 99 Luftballons German & English TranslationsJun 08, 2018View
4403ArticleOldSchool80s@Superman - Agreed! When I was a kid hearing this song, especially the German version, I had no idea what it was about. Just thought it was a fun song to dance to about balloons. That might be why I have been more fascinated about the song's meaning as I have gotten older.Nena's 99 Luftballons German & English TranslationsJun 08, 2018View
4396ArticleWhiteDragonAuraGreat article, brings back a lot of memories. I remember always choosing Charmy Bee as my main since the ring mechanic was a little easier to control with his dash ability. :)Video game oddities #1 - Knuckles ChaotixMay 28, 2018View

4392ArticleVaporman87This was a varied and unique list. Very interesting stuff! I too was always a bit disturbed by Something Wicked This Way Comes. Though it's been so long since I last watched it that I don't recall anything specific that bothered me most. I have heard of The Peanut Butter Solution but never had the opportunity to watch it. Nor have I seen The Brave Little Toaster, Mac and Me, or Space Camp. One film that bothered me a bit when I was young was Escape to Witch Mountain. I'm not sure why, but some scenes creeped me out. Parts of the jail scene in particular. Then again, the creep factor was balanced out by my crush on Kim Richards, so...Creepiest Kids' MoviesMay 26, 2018View
