4333ArticlejkatzDon't you dare remove that shrink wrapping! That thing is a priceless collector's item. Why, one day you'll be able to pay for your kid's college with it ;). My elementary school would store their vhs tapes in those exact same containers..talk about a flashback. The first two Lone Wolf films were edited together and released as "Shogun Assassin" here in the states. Just felt like sharing that. Mar 27, 2018View

1174ArticlepikachuloverDouble Dare is one of the few shows I can marathon binge watch online. I just sit there and watch it for hours. I liked when they would take jabs at Fun House. I liked both shows. It's cool that you got to meet Marc. I Double Dare You to Be Physically ActiveJul 17, 2014View

2885ArticleVaporman87Dr. Scarab reminds me of something you might see on Aeon Flux (the MTV cartoon). Doesn't he have that same kind of look? I would add to this list: Venger from Dungeons and Dragons, and D'Compose from Inhumanoids. 4682ArticlemistafistaDreamcast embodied everything I wanted in a console. It even had a web browser just good enough to snag pin ups from clipart sites XP Why Sega worked so hard to create console standards that hold up even today just to flush it down the toilet with idiotic Asian advertising in a Western demograph still confounds. 3728ArticlemassrealityDrug stores were so much cooler back in the day. I don't think I've ever been in one with an ice cream counter though. On a side note: I just realized they stop selling hose in those little eggs like a year ago. My grandma would always give my brother and me the eggs to play with once she took the hose out. I got to wondering if kids still played with the eggs and then I discovered they don't sell them like that anymore!Dr. Timewarp Returns: 80's Drug Store ShoppingFeb 10, 2017View
3445ArticlemassrealityDude… I blame the packaging for the 90210 doll. There was just something about it that was so alluring. While I never went through with buying one, that doesn’t mean I didn’t want to. One of the character’s name was Brandon, so when I saw a doll with the name Brandon on it, I wanted it. 90210 seemed liked a grown up show, so I somehow convinced myself that because of that it wasn’t a Barbie and would be perfectly acceptable to buy. I’ll never forget going up and down the toy aisle at K-Mart and stopping over and over again at that 90210 doll. Had I been alone, I would have bought it. There was just no way for me to gather up the nerve to ask my grandma for it. Although, after reading your story, I’m so glad I never went through with it.
