4459 | Article | Vaporman87 | I too hate that there is so much about our trips to Disney that are quickly forgotten. I think of how often I have taken our kids there, and memories just kind of blend together to the point that I don't even know for sure which kids were around to experience them. But at least they will have those memories forever. That's all that matters. | Jun 18, 2018
4460 | Article | Vaporman87 | Such great memories from some amazing places. Here's to hoping you guys finally get to make the trip to "the most magical place on Earth". And if you do, keep an eye out for a special dollar bill hidden safely away on Tom Sawyer Island. LOL | Theme Parks: Adventures in New England | Jun 18, 2018
4489 | Article | Vaporman87 | A perfect segway into Season 2 of the Netflix show. I suppose if you can get away with either re-purposing or "cloning" characters and make the audience happy, then there is no reason to NOT do it. By now though, the whole "Mini" or "Little" fad, with smaller versions of a star, has kind of played itself out. | G.L.O.W. Two-Timers | Jun 30, 2018
4488 | Article | Vaporman87 | @jkatz: Interesting tidbit concerning that version of Pooh (from the show Welcome To Pooh Corner) - the company that developed the animatronics for the suits that actors wore belonged to Ken Forsse, the creator of Teddy Ruxpin. His work paved the way for Disney to start using such animatronic features in the suits of some "cast members" playing Mickey, Minnie, and others. Man, some of these boxes are just amazing. I always loved the oddly sized/assembled VHS cases and boxes. They were incredible. | Kids VHS Tapes of the 80s and 90s | Jun 30, 2018
4493 | Article | Vaporman87 | Whoa! Very cool. Can't wait to read the story behind that. | Last Action Hero Movie Merchandise | Jul 22, 2018
4503 | Article | Vaporman87 | Can't... contain... jealousy... Rrraaahhhh!!! Ha! What an amazing trip. Really looking forward to your yard sale and thrift store adventures. They had to be epic. Very nice job capturing the fun of sleepovers and Saturday morning routines. You can see the gleam in the eyes of Hoju as he stands in awe of NLogan's man cave. Excellent job gentleman! | Rad Retro Weekend Part 1 | Aug 06, 2018
4505 | Article | Vaporman87 | Holy Cow! Can you imagine how much such a magazine would cost nowadays, with every item having to be illustrated and colored? Ridiculous! I wonder how often they had to make returns because the customer felt that the artistic rendering of the item constituted false advertising or poorly represented? Also, which film featured Darth Vader's brother, Darth Vadar? | Super Hero Toy Catalog 1978 | Aug 06, 2018
4508 | Article | Vaporman87 | @NLogan: I know. I felt the same about the past two RetroCons. LOL. If only we could just pause time and enjoy the fellowship until we are simply sick of each other. | Rad Retro Weekend Part 1 | Aug 06, 2018
4514 | Article | Vaporman87 | WHAT!? How!? Man, you two scored big time. Some of that is stuff you could only ever find on Ebay. So stinkin' jealous right now. I hope you got diarrhea from the Chinese food! LOL | Rad Retro Weekend Part 2: Antique Store Finds | Aug 14, 2018
4524 | Article | Vaporman87 | A more fitting end could not have been had to such a righteous adventure. Truly this whole experience was the stuff of legend, now saved for posterity for the world to enjoy. Speaking of Karate Kid III, Sean Kanan played the "villian" role in that film... and in this year's Halloween Special. LOL. He's an awesome guy. | Rad Retro Weekend Part 3: Video Store Victory | Aug 23, 2018 |
