4464 | Article | Superman | I've never been to SeaWorld, but I did once see a dolphin show at the zoo. It was fun. Some of the things you describe, like the audience getting splashed, happened to me there. | Jun 18, 2018
4468 | Article | pikachulover | @Vapor I was having a hard time thinking of a title for this and I didn't want a generic title like "Sea World Trip" or something like that. @Superman Those shows are fun too bad people don't really like them anymore. | Manatee Genitalia | Jun 19, 2018
4471 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Having just returned from my kid's first trip to SeaWorld this was very relatable. I totally remember those Pirate handlers for the costumed characters back in the day from when we went to SeaWorld as 6th grade field trip in the early 90s. This time around we got a picture with "Shamu", though there was no official Shamu merchandise anywhere except for an ice cream bar, which I quickly purchased. Did not come across any Manatees though. | Manatee Genitalia | Jun 19, 2018
4479 | Article | pikachulover | @Hoju I think the manatees were a new addition in the late 90s. That was the point of the Jack Hanna show to tell you the manatees were at SeaWorld San Diego. | Manatee Genitalia | Jun 19, 2018
4456 | Article | Vaporman87 | It's crazy to think it, but sometimes the most memorable things about trips and vacations are the little things. Looks like that is the case here. Most people who might ask you about a trip to the beach would expect a lot of stuff involving THE BEACH. But not so here. Great story Wes! | The Redneck Riviera '92 | Jun 18, 2018
4463 | Article | Superman | Leave it to a sibling to scare you and give you nightmares of the most unusual kind. | The Redneck Riviera '92 | Jun 18, 2018
4472 | Article | Hoju Koolander | A well told tale of terror and TV. I too always looked forward to discovering new kids shows while on family vacations. For example, I watched the premiere of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on a motel TV in Hershey, PA before taking a tour of the Hershey's chocolate factory in the 90s. (Love the podcast by the way) | The Redneck Riviera '92 | Jun 19, 2018
4453 | Article | OldSchool80s | This is so awesome! I love Goonies and I have always thought about traveling out to Astoria. Very cool how you were able to tell the story though the eyes of your son. What an awesome trip. | Our Goonies Adventure | Jun 17, 2018
4455 | Article | Vaporman87 | What an awesome journey. To be able to visit all of these important locations in the film, knowing how culturally significant they are to Gen-X folks like us. Reminds me of Hoju's trip to some locations where Bill and Ted was filmed. Memories that will last forever! | Our Goonies Adventure | Jun 18, 2018
4462 | Article | Superman | This seems to have been a really fun trip. Seeing locations from a childhood favorite film in person with your kids has got to be quite an experience. | Our Goonies Adventure | Jun 18, 2018 |
