3308 | Article | massreality | Wow Rick. That was one heck of a journey. Thanks for sharing, I know that wasn't easy to write. | Feb 03, 2016
3309 | Article | massreality | My brother and I had a bunk bed that was pretty cool. It was wooden, and didn't have that colorful look like the images of the ones above, but you could actually unstack the beds into single twin beds. So, when we got older, my dad was able to provide us each with our own beds for our rooms. Still, I would have traded in my bunk beds for a race car bed any day of the week. I wanted one of them so bad. | Bunk Beds | Feb 03, 2016
3310 | Article | massreality | I'm pretty happy with your list, but there is no way Thunderhawk trumps the Ecto-1. Come on! | 5 Best TV Cars of the 80s | Feb 03, 2016
3324 | Article | massreality | @demonpuppet87 - We think it was just old age. He was very old and was getting slow. He was an indoor dog, who loved being outdoors. We're not quite sure why he'd crawl under the house, unless it was just to escape the sun for a while. | My Final Halloween | Feb 09, 2016
3386 | Article | massreality | That was a great break down of your relationship with the series. I was in high school by 1998, so I missed out on the Pokemon bandwagon. I remember watching all the kids on the bus playing and trading cards, and I felt like I was missing out on something big. Back when Black/White came out on the DS, I bought a copy of Black just to see what all the fuss was about. I can't say that I fell totally in love with it, but I did enjoy the time I spent with the game. My girlfriend has taken over my 3DS XL once I introduced her to Animal Crossing, so I ordered myself a new one that should be here on Monday. I plan on buying Yellow from the Virtual Console, so I can truly dig in on the old school Pokemon. | 20 years of Pok'emon: Looking back to the franchise as an adult | Feb 27, 2016
3395 | Article | massreality | Wow. Great first article. Welcome to Retro Daze! I'm totally jealous. That store sounds like it was amazing! I spent alot of time in sports card stores and comic shops as a kid, so I know the thrill of finding a magical place that just gets you. Sadly, nowadays there arent many places that you can goto in person and feel that way. Luckily places like Retro Daze exist for the social aspect and eBay for the material part. | Blast to the Past! | Feb 28, 2016
3396 | Article | massreality | I find it interesting how much better weekends seemed when we were kids. Things were simple and expectations were so low. I really miss that. Great article! | Memories of a Perfect Weekend | Feb 28, 2016
3397 | Article | massreality | Man, I totally forgot about cross sections! I loved browsing through them. I was also a big fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure. I'd usually get irritated and quit when things didn't got the way I wanted them to. | The Library | Feb 28, 2016
3398 | Article | massreality | Great list, but you totally skipped over Wayne Gretzky and Magic Johnson! Although, one might argue that Magic was a bigger deal in the 80s. | The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90's | Feb 28, 2016
3411 | Article | massreality | I remember drooling all over the video game case at Toys R Us when I first saw the Jaguar. It was just so different I couldn't help but want it. Of course, it was crazy expensive and I was just a kid so I didn't get it. That hasn't stopped me from wanting one all these years later. I've read the reviews and I know its a waste of plastic. Still, its just that one Holy Grail from my childhood that I never got. One day, I'll own a Jaguar. I gotta say @Rick Ace Rhodes, you are wrong about Nintendo following suit soon. They have enough money in the bank to run a deficit for over thirty years before running into issues. They are also a company that better managed than either Sega or Atari. | Encountering The Jaguar | Mar 01, 2016 |
