i had a couple of those how to draw manga books myself, but looking back the characters they used samples of were drawn in a hilariously ugly style lol.

Those "how to draw" books take me way back. I had a bunch that supposedly would teach you the manga style.

Very cool stuff. I remember seeing a comic book ad for the Sonic Hot Rings sweepstakes and definitely had those SMB3 Happy Meal Toys. I really enjoyed the Nintendo Power Pack sticker/game trading cards, as well as the Super Mario Bros and Zelda fruit snacks.
